Divider Designer

This tool is for calculating a set of optimal resistors to use in a voltage divider. The tool pulls from a table made up of all E24 (5%) and E96 (%1) standard resistor values, which can be found in the link below from resistor manufacturer Vishay.

A current window range is provided for selecting the magnitude of resistance ranges used in the calculation. It can be useful for targetting a specific divider impedance depending on the application, such as if the divider is being used as feedback for a converter, or part of an analog to digital converter signal conditioning circuit.
